THE PROCESS
DESIGN
Define the Problem we are Trying to Solve.
While having something that is aesthetically beautiful is important, it’s imperative that we design with functionality first in mind. What is the core problem that we are trying to solve? What is the missing gap that this bag will fill? Questions we need to ask ourselves might be, what context will I be using this bag in? What items will need to fit into it? Where will I be taking it?

About Our Leather

SELECTION
Leather hides aren’t exactly cheap, so design planning will saves lot of time. First we begin by creating paper prototypes for each model. The prototyping phase is a great time to make sure all the real objects be placed in the bag will fit. We use paper to get the size, shape and pattern. Pattern making occurs at the same time as prototyping as we refine and improve each design, we will create a more finalized pattern when we are ready to translate it to leather
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Craft is not a set of fine products, or even a set of skills; it’s “a way of exploring and understanding the material world.” Craftsmanship is the quality that comes from creating with passion, care, and attention to detail. When people are working with their hands, quality can’t be rushed; nor can it be faked. “Masters don’t need to say they’re the masters—it’s obvious in the work.”
